The ‘get to know’ you phase. Every project begins with a consultation meeting where we walk the property, develop a clear scope of work and we collect information on our client’s preferred style, functional needs, necessary measurements, and how they want their home to feel.

We synthesize the above information into a visual concept which conveys the proposed design direction. This is reflected in a mixture of mood boards, material samples and design drawings (floor plans, elevations and renderings where relevant)

We take care of the leg work. Clients are often astounded at the abundance of options out there. With our trained eye, we whittle selections down to what we think will work best, giving you back precious time and alleviating second guessing. We know about materials and products, what will be most appropriate for the intended use, and have a shorthand for knowing the best places to shop for your particular aesthetic and price point.

Once a concept is agreed, we provide a detailed list of proposed items for purchase and manage that process from start to finish, relieving clients from a time- consuming and sometimes stressful experience.

For renovation projects in particular, we meet with contractors early on (the sooner the better) to determine feasibility for design ideas and materials selections, and conduct regular site checks throughout the construction period to help trouble shoot inevitable issues that crop up on site. We are highly collaborative, hands-on, and work to bring solutions to clients, not problems.

Once the dust settles and all items have arrived, we take care of the finishing touches. Installing furnishings and décor to bring a space together and create a true reflection of our clients.
